Why Are We So Mineral Deficient? 

About 90% of Americans are mineral deficient. We tend to think of nutritional issues being a third world problem, but this is absolutely not the case. In America, our foods no longer have the nutrient density that they used to. When a plant grows in a soil, regardless of the plant, it finds its structural lifeforce by using the minerals in the soil it’s growing in. Actually, everything in life is made of minerals – even the table or desk you might be sitting at or the chair you are sitting in. All structure in the universe is made of minerals. 

But the problem with plants (and our food) is that we cultivate. In nature, the plants would die in place and the surrounding soil would reabsorb its mineral content for the next round of growth. However, the truth is, we grow the plants, chop them down, carry them elsewhere and eat them. This leads to extreme soil depletion which yields mineral deficient plants for us to eat and this has been the case since 1936 and progressively gets worse. 

There has been a ramping up of chronic health health symptoms affecting a huge number of people which is a result of mineral deficiency and depletion. Another big reason for this is the amount of bottled and filtered water we are drinking these days. Bottled and filtered water need to be remineralized. 

At a cellular level, we work very much like plants. Due to the soil degradation and mineral deficiency, you would have to eat 11 apples to get the same nutrition from a single apple that your grandfather ate. You CAN enrich your soil with humic and fulvic substances (and many farmers DO know about this), and you can ALSO enrich your body with the same minerals you are lacking. 

Health Problems Associated with Mineral Loss and Deficiencies 

We are trained to think of our bodies as parts. If we have heart issues, we go to a heart doctor. If we have mouth issues, we go to a dentist. However, our body is a complex ecosystem; everything is connected. Your entire body is made of cells and they all work together in these miraculous systems. Every cell has mitochondria. These are energy generating units (ATPs) for your entire body. The FUEL for these mitochondria are amino acids and minerals. When the cells do not have the minerals they need to function, they don’t function and you can become very sick.

Minerals are THE foundation of LIFE. Replenishing minerals can solve SO many of our health problems. The problem is that most doctors (even many naturopaths) know nothing about minerals. 

What are The Most Important Minerals to Supplement and Replenish in Our Body? 

There are about 17 minerals that are ESSENTIAL and CRITICAL for your body. We know about some of them but there are many that the majority of us have NO idea we need. 

Many of us take one off supplements like magnesium or selenium, etc. In this case, the algorithm of what your body needs, when it needs it, and how it needs it, and where it needs it, is impossible to crack by taking single, mega-dose supplements. Mineral balance is AS important as mineral LEVELS in your body. It’s not helpful for people to take the one-off mega doses of minerals because this affects the mineral LEVELS of your body. This is where plant-based minerals play a HUGE winning role. 

The best way to test your body to see where your minerals might be depleted is to do a hair sample analysis (a piece of hair) or a state of the art liga scan (sample from inside your tissues).

What Are Plant Based Minerals and Where Do They Come From? 

Imagine the planet 65 billion years ago when the dinosaurs lived, with land covered in lush rainforests and fresh water plants. Then a meteorite hit the earth and wiped out 75% of life on earth. The rainforests died and decomposed, becoming a strata of earth about 10-12 feet underground. Inside of this substance, there are two important molecules: humic and fulvic molecules. These molecules represent mother nature’s mineral replenishment technology for cellular systems (plants, animals, organisms). Together they carry a full spectrum of balanced minerals your body needs, in the natural ratio your body needs. 

Fulvic is a bioflavonoid (aka a co-transporter) of minerals and nutrition into your cells in a very efficient way. It’s a super small molecule and is really easy to be absorbed by your body. 

Humic is a large molecule, sticky like a velcro ball, that lives in your bloodstream and picks up biowaste, toxins, heavy metals, senescent cells, etc. and gets so heavy that it falls out of your body via all open elimination channels (snot, sweat, tears, skin, urine, feces, bottom of feet, etc.)
