So This Is 50! Aging Well Through Menopause with Laura Heikkila

I found Laura on Instagram and fell in love with the way she is living and walking the walk I am constantly sharing about. She is in her 50s and is doing ALL of the things as if age is NOT a factor (because it’s not!) Everyone always says “just wait until you turn 50!” right? But what the heck happens at 50?! Laura set out to document the process as she approached the age. And while there ARE some things that DO change at 50, it’s not doomsday like we believed it would be.

Reversing Disease Progression and Slowing the Aging Process with Hyperbaric Therapy with Aimee Allenback

I had Amy on today to talk about A LOT of chronic pain and illness that come up for A LOT of midlife women, where we think we don’t have control and have to just “accept it”. But thanks to people like Amy (who was “finally” diagnosed with Crohn’s disease after a whole assortment of health symptoms…and was prescribed 16 different medications/day), we can actually make IN HOME healing and wellness centers where we can start to heal ourselves! Oftentimes (especially in midlife) we can experience a series of things going wrong…and we just chalk it up to an overall decline thinking “what’s wrong with me???”  BUT we have to remember that when just ONE thing is out of whack in your body, a number of other things can spiral quickly after. Addressing that ONE thing could solve the rest! This is what we mean when we talk about addressing the “root cause” of something.

Why Leadership is the Most Important Skill You Can Learn with Andy Elliott

I was SO excited to interview Andy Elliott live. I found him recently online from a clip where he was speaking into ABS. He said something like, if you don’t have a 6-pack, I won’t hire you. And I needed to learn more because I knew there had to be more to it than what meets the ear lol. I promise once he explains it, it will make SOOO much sense to you, too! Loved learning from Andy, the great leader he is, and the major changes him and his wife made for their life. Let’s dive in!

Healthy and Vibrant 50+ Aging with Darnell Cox

Darnell Cox is a 55 year old Gerontologist who studies the psychological and physical aspects for aging through the lifespan. I was so excited to have her on because this is everything my people want to learn! She got into the health and wellness field many years ago but has her education in Gerontology and Psychology (and actually went back to school for a second masters at the age of 51!) So cool!

Owning Your Own Voice in Midlife with Lisa Nichols

One of my favorite people in the WHOLE PLANET is with us today! Lisa Nichols changed my life about 15 years ago. When I was at my rock bottom, in my darkest moments, when my life felt like it was completely fallen apart, I had a moment of HOPE. I turned on the TV and Oprah had a guest…Lisa Nichols. She was talking about vision, and possibility, and focusing on going forward instead of the circumstances of what currently is. Years later we met, she became my coach, we became friends, and she has helped me time and time again with my vision and my VOICE. I absolutely LOVE HER as a “sister friend” in her words and I KNOW you will love her too!
